How working with me works for you
Body Autonomy - You are the expert on you.
Yes, I bring education, training, and clinical experience to our work, but you bring lived experience. You know your body. You know your history. You know what feels scary, and what feels possible.
Your autonomy matters here.
If you’re still feeling tangled up in diet culture or you’re not quite ready to toss the scale out the window, that’s okay. You don’t have to be “all in” on recovery to start. I will meet you exactly where you are - without pressure, without shame, and without ultimatums.
We move at your pace. Always.
Body Neutrality
The body positivity movement has been powerful and meaningful, especially within the eating disorder community. And at the same time, loving your body every single day may not feel realistic for most of us.
That’s where body neutrality comes in.
Body neutrality invites you to appreciate what your body does rather than how it looks. It shifts the focus from appearance to function—from aesthetics to lived experience. Your body carries you through your day. It allows you to move, think, connect, feel, rest, and show up in the world.
Your body is your home. It deserves respect and care, even on the days you don’t feel particularly loving toward it.
We don’t have to force body love. We can start with body respect.
All Food Fits
Just like bodies, food is neutral.
Many of us were taught to label foods as “good” or “bad.” And over time, those labels start to attach to us. If I eat something “good,” I’m good. If I eat something “bad,” I’ve failed.
That belief creates shame. And shame fuels the cycle of restriction, over-control, and bingeing. It can become a prison.
What if food didn’t carry moral value?
When we step away from food rules and moral judgments, we create space for flexibility, nourishment, satisfaction, and trust. “All food fits” doesn’t mean food choices don’t matter. It means they don’t define your worth.
Recovery often begins when we loosen the grip of rigid rules and allow food to simply be food again.
How We’ll Work Together
-
A short, no-pressure call to connect, answer questions, and see if we’re a good fit.
-
Your first session is about exploring your goals, history, and where you’re looking for support. Together, we’ll create a plan tailored to you.
-
Ideal for focused work, more frequent check-ins, or a lighter session format.
-
Full-length sessions allow for deeper exploration and processing; common for ongoing therapy or complex concerns.
After your initial assessment, we’ll choose the session length and schedule that feels right for you. Every step is designed to meet you where you are and support your healing at a pace that works for you.

“The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed, seen, heard, and companioned exactly as it is. When we offer one another this kind of presence, we create a space where transformation naturally happens, not by force but by the quiet power of being fully met.”
